Ice Cream Time.

It was a very snowy day, just right for an ice cream cone. The cones were the perfect size for the boys, all three! Dayne had his very first cone, and he ate it all by himself, the whole thing! He loved every minute of it too. He is definitely his mothers son!

Dayne's first Christmas

Is that a little Christmas elf?
"Mom, it is just me, Dayne!"

Christmas Morning

Alexander was the first one up!

Jaxon and Dayne haven't learned to wake up super early on Christmas.
Dayne loved reading all the cool finger puppet books from Nana

Two of my most favorite gifts.

Wrestle time in Christmas pajamas.

The night before Christmas

Jaxon "carefully" using a knife
Cooking with Poppi
Dayne eating lemons with Mema (he LOVES them)

10 months time to drive

One of Dayne's favorite things to do is to sit on Jason's lap and drive the car. Of course he isn't really driving, but he loves to pretend. He has also figured out how to turn the volume up on the radio. He will reach down, turn up the music and dance. He is such a character!

Two Teeth

Dayne has two teeth now! He is very interested in learning all about these new things in his mouth. This is him reading one of our favorite books from Nana.

Our first family photo

We had our first family photos taken recently. It was very special because the photographer is the one person responsible for us being a family. Miyo Strong, my dear friend from high school, actually introduced me to Jason. She is a fabulously talented photographer. I was so excited to have her shoot our family. I wish we could do it more often.
Miyo, thanks for everything!

Baby Dayne 9 months

Dayne had his first "real" photo shoot with one of the most talented photographers around. My wonderfully talented friend Miyo Strong. He was all smiles. He really loves being naked.

Fox Boys at the Zoo

Looking for food.

I was holding Dayne while putting something back into the refrigerator. He grabbed hold of the door and would not let go. So of course I had to have Jason grab the camera for a quick picture. He is such a strong and independent baby. I think he is going to love food just as much as his Daddy.

Happy Halloween

The boys decided to be some of their favorite characters from Star Wars. Alexander was going to be a storm trouper, but on the day of Halloween his costume was way too small. He is growing so fast! We had to run out and buy him a new costume. We were fortunate that he was able to find Jano Fett, one of his favorite characters. The boys also insisted we buy the baby Yoda costume for Dayne. Jaxon was kind enough to let his Dad wear his Darth Vader mask.
We met up with our favorite family the Yuens. Jenna was princess Leia and Logan was Obi Won Kenobi. We had such a great time with all of the Yuens.
It was a great Halloween!

8 Months

Dayne's favorite things this month are climbing and sticking out his tongue. He also loves to wave, his Mema taught him how and he is very proud of himself.

Take a hike

We love going on "adventure" walks with our boys. We hike up the mountain behind our house. It is so beautiful and the air is so fresh. Our dogs love going too!
This particular time Alexander was really hoping we would run into a mountain lion. He kept asking when we would see one. Then after about 25 minutes he changed his mind.
"Mom, our cat Pandora is a predatory animal and that means she kills mice, so are mountain lions predatory animals?" He asked me.
When I answered yes, he replied. "Mom, I don't really want to see a mountain lion anymore."
Good idea, neither do I!

7 months

Dayne is 7 months old now. He is getting bigger every day. We wanted to measure his growth, he thought it would be better to put the measuring tape into his mouth.

TeePee

Nana sent the boys a great teepee they all love playing inside. Alexander put it on top of his bed and has been sleeping in it for a week. Thanks Nana!

Ice Skating

Alexander and Jaxon started Ice Skating lessons. They are doing so great. Jason and I were so proud of them. Alexander fell a little over 50 times, but got back up with a smile on his face each time. He was so disappointed when the class was over. He can't wait to get back on the ice. We can't wait to watch them skate again.

Alex the Artist

Alexander is taking an Art Mix class. It is a great class that includes different types of art. This was his first project . It is his favorite animal a Jaguar made of clay. The jaguar is lying in its habitat. We are so proud of our little artist.

Are we there yet?

When you are 5 or 3 years old 10 minutes in the car is too long. I took these pictures of my boys driving home one day when it was "taking FOREVER". I wanted to remember these handsome faces forever.

Story time with Tio

Tio Greg came over for Sunday dinner. The boys were excited to read books with him. They really loved it because he read their books to them in Spanish. It was super cool. Jaxon told me the other day he can speak Spanish now. When he demonstrated it was his own version of Spanish, very creative.
The boys love their Tio.

Dayne loves Daddy

Dayne loves playing with his Daddy.  He lights up when Jason walks into the room.  When Jason leans into kiss him he closes his eyes and scrunches his face.  He know it will be a scratchy kiss with Daddy's beard.  Dayne loves to smack his Dad's head and pull his necklace.  It is fitting that he loves the necklace so much.  It is a dog tag necklace from his great-grandfather Austin Daynes.

Walking with Mema

Alexander and Jaxon loving going on walks with their Mema.  Their favorite place to walk is on the golf course by her house.  They all love to hunt for golf balls, Mema has about 1,000 balls in her collection now, and no I am not exaggerating.   The boys love to "accidently" fall into the mud.
Recently, I was fortunate enough to be invited  to go along on a walk with 3 of my favorite people and 3 darling dogs too.  I had a blast watching them and got some get photos as well

Alexander was "really trying" to make it over mud puddle but instead jumped right in.

Jaxon had a seat in the mud.

Using the sprinklers to wash off some of the mud.

Riding back in the wagon.

Taking a tubbie at Mema's to get all of the mud off.
